With the new marching band season under way, SPFHS held its annual Home Show competition on Saturday, Sept. 16. Bands from Weehawken, Cranford, East Brunswick, Fair Lawn, Chatham, Bridgewater-Raritan, Immaculata, Edison, J.P. Stevens and Westfield competed, and the Raiders band closed the event by performing its show, “Elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air.”

This year’s event drew a large crowd and was ably served by a big group of SPF Music Boosters volunteers.IMG_5565 (2)

We have an album of photos taken by Dan from high in the stands, including some of the competing bands as well as the “home team.”

As always, we would welcome photo submissions from parents and friends of the band to add to our collection. Contact us at And please visit our SPF Music Photos website to see our collection of images from the past decade of SPF music events.

Senior Recognition Day was held early in the Fall 2016 season at the SPFHS football stadium. Thanks to band parent Dev Anjaria, we have an album of photos of senior members of the Raiders Marching Band.
