News and performances by the marching band

SPFHS – MPR (Multi-purpose room)

Marching Band Families,

Welcome to the 2018-19 Raider Marching Band season.  As we all await our new theme for the season, behind the scenes Kelly Robertson and myself (Jami Pawelec) have begun preparing for our Home Show.  This year is our 20th Home Show.

Each fall SPF Marching Band hosts a marching band competition – The Home Show.  Not only does the marching band perform at football games, the band competes in the USBands circuit.  The Home Show is our opportunity to host a USBands sanctioned event where visiting bands take our home field in competition.  This is our largest fundraiser of the year and the proceeds from the Home Show fuel the band for the entire season.  So SAVE THE DATE, this year the 20th Annual Home Show is Saturday, September 22th.

In order to host such an event, we need many parent volunteers.  The Home Show kickoff meeting is the beginning of our planning process.  The Home Show event is broken down into committees (Concessions, Ad Journals, Trophies, Parking, Raffles, Air grams & many more).  So whether you are a returning, new or interested parent please come join us for the 2018 Home Show kick off meeting:
